Reminder: No BBQs allowed in the gulley

Date Added 23 August 2022

The gulley, Priors Hall Park’s nature reserve and county wildlife site, is now fully open to the public and we’re delighted to see our residents enjoying the space safely.

However, we’re aware of examples of people using disposable BBQs in the area and would like to remind everyone that the gulley is a no BBQ and fire zone. Please help us to protect this special landscape. Most wildfires are caused by small fires in the open that spread, combined with a sustained period of hot, dry weather. One careless action could impact the environment for decades to come.

As well as inhabiting varied and even rare wildlife species, our nature reserve is a place to appreciate the wildlife on our doorstep. While enjoying walking through it, please follow the path, keep dogs on a lead and take your litter home with you.
