Social distancing in play areas

Date Added 04 March 2021

A gentle reminder

Please can we remind all play area users to continue to following the Government measures to slow the spread of COVID-19 and respect social distancing, keeping a distance of 2 metres between people from different households, or 1 metre with risk mitigations (where 2 metres is not viable).

Under the latest national lockdown outdoor playgrounds can remain open, and parents, guardians or carers can take children to a playground for exercise, however they must not socialise with other people while there.

If the play area seems too busy, please visit at another time.

This will help to limit the spread of COVID-19 and keep our community safe.

Thank you for your cooperation.

Stay safe
